Culture Review 2007: Social Networking.
Web 2.0 has kicked into high gear with FaceBook allowing developers to make applications for Facebook users. This has dramatically changed the social networking landscape, and FaceBook has become the fastest growing site on the web. When Microsoft bought a small stake it valued the company at 15 billion dollars. Social networking is spreading rapidly on all manner of web sites as the Internet adapts to the human need to interact socially.
